With most Sport Compact Japanese makes and models using M12x1.25 or M12x1.50 thread pitch lug nuts.  One would assume that the FK8 Civic Type R uses 12x1.50 lug nuts like all of its cousins do...S2000, NSX, RSX, Integra, CRZ, etc.

Nope! Not this monster.  Unlike its cousins, the CTR uses 14x1.5 lug nuts.  Which has to do with the 5x120 bolt pattern Honda adapted for this car.  

Luckily we carry a good amount of 14x1.5 lug nuts for aftermarket wheels.  Which you will need to use as the OEM one will not sit properly on your aftermarket wheel.
